My brother-in-law & I created a petition a few days ago and we need your help! Sign our petition to make our internet service provider hear us out! They've done nothing but provide us with one of the worst possible bandwidth and throttle it below the world's lesser than 10% average for bandwidth. In other words, people in Australia are getting faster high speed DSL than us! That's pretty bad if you ask me.
All we need is 100 signatures to so we can shove it in our ISP's face and go "look! you've got over 100 people saying they are sick of your stupid money grubbing shit! We want a better service, so stop throttling us and upgrade your 30 year old switches and lines!" According to my brother-in-law, we don't need signatures to be of the same ISP service to complain, all they have to do is sign the petition to prove one point, and that is to basically say. "I agree that this is BS! And they deserve better service!"
Now, I don't know if any of you know about change.org but they make a long of things happen, take a look for yourself once you get the chance. But please by all means, help us out. We have high speed DSL and we're not even getting what they have said we could be getting. Cause we're getting ONLY 1.3Mbps. That's like having 2 high speed dial up connections. Its so pathetic, I can't even Skype without so many drop outs, connection failures, TONS of packet-loss. There's no way I'm getting on Netflix at this point. I can barely even stay on Second Life anymore. Our ISP used to give us 3Mbps and that was slow but tolerable.
Anyways, if your not familiar with signing petitions, it'll give you the choice between showing your name and what city state you live in publicly. Or you can make it private, up to you. But it's safe. Please just make sure you fill out the entire thing, real name, and real address, etc.

And most importantly, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! Because if 100 signatures isn't enough for them to care, they'll want 500 signatures or even 1000. And if that becomes the case, I'll need all the help I can get, so please! By all means share this with all your friends, and have them share it with all their friends!
